A slow cooker cooks slowly at low heat and does one thing well for very little money. A multi-cooker pressure cooks, sautés, steams and slow cooks, and costs several times as much. They sit next to each other in search results and the price difference looks like a quality tier.
If you want the thing that sits there all day while you are out, the cheap one is the right one.
